Compared to nitrided versions, they are additionally equipped with a bimetallic layer on the outer diameter of the screw and on the inner surface of the barrel, significantly increasing wear resistance, extending service life, and ensuring stable performance even under extreme operating conditions.

Screws with PVD surface treatment stand out epsecially for their high surface hardness, increased chemical resistance and reduced material adhesion.
